I escaped from the corporate world in 2006 to run ecological safari lodges in Botswana, Africa. Whilst there, I was responsible for a large number of staff with very active jobs. When they came to me with injuries, massage was a simple solution (I sometimes think the pain was ‘made up’ just for a massage!) and had wonderful results.
Upon returning to England I realised I had finally found a proper use for my hands – I retrained with a diploma in Holistic Massage and then another in Sports Massage.
I set up SB Sports Massage to travel far and wide and help as many people as possible with their aches and pains. I am fortunate now to have a base at the PACE Therapies clinic within the Guildford Spectrum. I found many of my clients have time restrictions with their working hours or their family, or perhaps are not mobile enough to come to a clinic; therefore I still offer home visits within a 20 mile radius of GU5/Gomshall.
I am happy to travel nationally and internationally for corporate work and training camps; most years I can be found in Lanzarote with elite triathletes on an Ironman training camp, and I am looking forward to upcoming corporate work in London and Oxford.

‘Sarah has been treating me regularly for three years since I took up triathlon, stupidly late in life! She has an intuitive ability to get the heart of probem areas and ease the sore bits. Her detailed knowledge of physiology and her ability to simply explain potential causes and treatments for aches and pains makes her the first point of call for most things ‘ow’ – by phone, text, email, twitter and FB. She patiently replies to all. As an endurance triathlete herself – she recognises first hand the potential issues making her all the more valuable. Sarah is lovely to be around and has an excellent grasp of the importance of cake. She comes highly recommended.’ L.E. Wimbledon
